About the Project

For the Chicago Design Within Reach location, DFA remained true to the design vocabulary it created and incorporated the Light Cloud, Swatch Wall, super graphics and dining chair and table labs. The Light Cloud designed for Chicago is the largest cloud to date and is an integral tool, guiding clients as they navigate the store. This was the first location that DFA collaborated with the owner of the building in designing the outside façade as well.  DFA completed this project successfully, on time and within budget, despite a notably minimal timeline.
