About the Project

DFA was approach by Herman Miller to begin their roll out of the first Hay stores in the United States. The studio was asked to create a store within a store experience in both Costa Mesa, California and Portland, Oregon. DFA seamlessly incorporated the Hay brand into existing Design Within Reach stores. Providing a new retail environment for Hay home and office furniture and product. This project kicked off Hay’s brick and motor presences in the American Market.
